LOCAL PATH C-81 CASTANYER DE LES NOU BRANQUES

The Castanyer de les Nou Branques (Nine-Branched Chestnut Tree) route begins at the Font de les Paitides Fountain and ends back at the same point, although it is a good idea to set out from the European Natural Cultural Centre in Viladrau where additional information is available. It is a circular 7 km route passing through a number of different ecosystems in the park, each with their own native flora and fauna, while also taking in one of the Montseny's largest chestnut trees.
