Also known as the Sitja del LLop, (the wolf’s
stack) it forms part of one of the walls of a shepherd’s
hut, “La Barraca de les Lloses”, at La Calma.
Its meaning and age are uncertain. Some authors date its origins
to the end of the Neolithic period, if this is the case it
would be evidence of the first farmers of Montseny and the
highest prehistoric remains on the entire range.
