The vineyards and winery of SERRAT DE MONTSORIU are to be found on the Can Serrat estate, located at the foot of Montsoriu Castle, and form part of the more than 30,000 hectares of woodland, meadows, villages and fields which make up the Montseny Nature Reserve. The distinctive geophysical characteristics of the park, which within its relatively small surface area rises from 150 to 1700 metres above sea level, make it a truly exceptional space in terms of the great variety of flora and fauna concentrated there. In these naturally blessed surroundings we tend three hectares of vineyards on the estate itself, along with a further three hectares located nearby. The different soils, with their clays, sandstones and granite sand combine with the decisive influence of the massif to create a microclimate giving a subtle twist to such well-known varieties as Albariño, Pinot Noir, Mencía, Merlot, Syrah and Chardonnay in particular.

We ensure that the enthusiasm, dedication and professionalism which we put into restoring the old stone farmhouse, tending to the vines, producing our wines and presenting and marketing our products blend harmoniously into the uniquely precious natural heritage which surrounds us.

TOUR - TASTING
Serrat de Montsoriu offers you the chance to visit the vineyard and winery on a "tasting tour" organised as follows:

Tours are as a rule arranged on Sunday mornings throughout the year, except during the harvest season. They normally begin around 11 in the morning, starting out at the vineyards where, depending on the weather and our visitors' interests, we generally spend between half an hour and an hour. We then move on to the winery, again spending from half an hour to an hour there. The visit is rounded off with a tasting of three of our products, depending on availability: a white, a red and a sparkling wine. At the end of the tour, visitors can purchase any bottles they may wish, subject to availability. Tours generally end between 1 and 2 p.m.

We charge € 12 per person for the tour and tasting. The minimum group is five people, and the maximum between ten and fifteen.
