THE NATURAL PARK

The natural park area covers 30,120 hectares, and is distributed among 18 municipal areas which belong to three different counties (Osona, La Selva and El Vallès Oriental). 90% of the park area is private property. The Natural park of Montseny is managed by the local government bodies of Girona and the Diputació de Barcelona and is subject to the regulation of the 1977 Special Plan. .
